Core Farms CSA began in 2004 as a “community-supported agriculture” operation. CSA consists of a community of individuals and families who pledge support to the farm’s operation and share the risks and benefits of local food production. Our CSA families pledge in advance to cover the anticipated costs of the farm’s operation.

Core Farms CSA Honey Bees
In return, they receive share’s in the farm’s bounty throughout the growing season, as well as the satisfaction gained from reconnecting to the land and participating directly in local food production. CSA families also share in the risks of farming, including poor harvests due to unfavorable weather or pests.
