Caribbean Tings

Caribbean Tings is a Haitian and Afro Latin Caribbean food truck serving Bloomington and nearby areas. It first appeared at Food Truck Fridays on Aug. 29, 2025 and has since become a regular.

Owner Karen Julien began running the truck full time in March 2025. It started life as a camper that was renovated into a food truck. Julien has Haitian roots, and she told the Indiana Daily Student that oxtail draws the most customers.

As of October 2025 she hoped to expand into a brick-and-mortar location. Food truck schedules change, so check the truck's social pages before heading out.
