Gather :handmade shoppe & Co: is a downtown Bloomington gift shop and creative space in the historic Redman Building at 116 N. Walnut St, on the east side of the courthouse square. Locally and woman owned, Gather has been part of downtown Bloomington since 2013, showcasing the work of more than 400 independent artists, crafters, and makers from the Midwest and beyond.

Inside you will find handmade and handcrafted jewelry, bath and body products, kids’ toys and clothing, woodworking, illustration, knitted and crocheted goods, and more, all made by working artists rather than mass produced. Gather also runs a zero-waste Refillery, where shoppers can refill glass or plastic vessels with household and personal care products instead of buying single-use plastic.

Beyond shopping, Gather hosts a DIY Bar with self-led craft kits available during open hours, monthly public craft nights, workshops and classes, and a gallery space that exhibits both emerging and established local artists. The space is also available to book for private parties and group gatherings.

Gather is open Tuesday through Saturday from 11am to 6pm and Sunday from 11am to 4pm, closed Mondays.
