Thai restaurant on East Covenanter Drive, known to Bloom Magazine for its limestone wall and wonton soup, with dine-in and online carry-out.
About Bangkok Thai Cuisine
Bangkok Thai Cuisine is a Thai restaurant at 2920 E. Covenanter Dr. on Bloomington's east side. Owner Waew Chantar and chef Chitakorn Setmark settled on the location in 2013, in the space once home to The Limestone Grille.
Bloom Magazine's 2016 review highlighted the dining room's carved limestone wall that reads "Indiana," and a menu with Pad Kee Mow, Panang Curry and Som Tam. It called the wonton soup a standout and noted that most dishes can be ordered on a spiciness scale of one to five stars. Chef Setmark grew up on a farm in northeast Thailand.
You can dine in or pick up Tuesday through Sunday, and the website offers direct online ordering for carry-out. The restaurant is closed Mondays, and hours on the site may change, so check before you go.
