About Boys & Girls Clubs of Bloomington
In 2026 the club celebrated 70 years of service. Founded in 1956, the organization serves more than 700 youth a day across four Club locations in Monroe and Owen Counties, and the Lincoln Street location was renamed the Jack Eads Club. The Greater Bloomington Chamber of Commerce marked the milestone with a ribbon cutting.
The four Clubs are the Jack Eads Club at 311 S. Lincoln Street, (812) 332-2970; the Steve & Connie Ferguson Crestmont Club at 1111 W. 12th Street, (812) 336-6501; the Ellettsville Club at 8045 W. State Road 46, (812) 935-6970; and the Owen County Club in Spencer, (812) 250-6500. Programs include after school programming, break day programming, Summer Learning Labs and Camp Rock for ages 5 to 18, with an annual fee of $20 per child per the club website.
