Bread and Roses Gardens

Bread & Roses Gardens is a food forest in the Hoosier National Forest area south of Bloomington. The farm grows without chemicals, uses no-till methods and keeps habitat for wildlife. Owners are Salem Willard and Ash Teng.

They turn their harvest into small-batch goods including kimchi, sauerkraut, hot sauce, herbal tea, pesto, dried herbs, salsa, fruit jam and herbal extracts.

Look for them at the Saturday Bloomington farmers market most weeks, where Market Bucks and gift certificates are accepted.
