About Brothers Bar & Grill

Brothers Bar & Grill is at 215 N. Walnut St. in downtown Bloomington. It is part of a chain founded in 1990 in La Crosse, Wisconsin, which the company says has grown to family-owned locations around the country. The company describes each Brothers as a modern take on the old Midwestern corner tavern.

The drink side is built around a tap system the company puts at 35 to 40 drafts. The food is big, basic bar comfort food, with more than 20 appetizers, 8 sandwiches, 5 wraps and 8 burgers, and the Wisconsin beer-battered cheese curds get special billing.

The Indiana Daily Student's January 2025 bar guide included Brothers among bars for drink deals.

The Bloomington page lists hours running to 3am each night and notes that closing hours are subject to change.
