Bruster’s Ice Cream East

Bruster's is a franchised ice cream shop on the far east end of Third Street, on the way to Lake Monroe, and has been open since 1998. The Indiana Daily Student reports it was the 27th Bruster's franchise to open in the U.S.

The shop makes its ice cream fresh in-house every day and rotates at least 24 flavors. It runs seasonally; in 2025 it opened for the season on Feb. 28, so check before visiting in winter. The shop also takes online orders.
