The shop keeps things simple. A 2014 Bloom Magazine profile described a menu of donuts, coffee, milk and juice, with classic yeast donuts made fresh each day and glazed the most popular, followed by filled bismarks.
The unusual spelling is on purpose. The name refers to the crescent-shaped donut the original owner made. Peter Sharpe has owned the shop since 2002. Visit Bloomington lists it as opening as early as 6 a.m. every day, but hours may change, so check before you go.
