Da Vinci Pizza and Pasta

Da Vinci is a family-owned Italian restaurant at 250 S Washington St. It opened in summer 2019 and was bought by the Love family in 2022. The heart of the kitchen is a Mara Forni wood-fired oven that bakes hand-crafted Neapolitan pizza. The dough is made in house every day and stretched by hand to order. Visit Bloomington notes the pizzas use Italian flour from Naples and that there are more than 20 signature pies, including meat-heavy and plant-based ones.

If you want something other than pizza, there are classic Italian pastas in homemade sauces and fresh salads with house-made vinaigrettes. The restaurant describes its approach as modern Italian food, wine and craft beer for locals and the Indiana University community.

Da Vinci offers takeout and delivery ordering, gift cards, and catering, and it will rent its dining room, patio or cocktail lounge for private events. It does not take reservations except for IU graduation weekend.
