Counter-service Mediterranean bowls and flatbreads, with a cafe for coffee and smoothies, on East Hillside Drive since 2018.
About Feta Kitchen + Cafe
Feta Kitchen + Cafe is a counter-service Mediterranean restaurant at 600 E Hillside Dr, at the corner of Hillside Drive and Henderson Street. It opened on Sept. 21, 2018, and is owned by Hilary and Hartzell Martel, who also run Hartzell's Ice Cream and the Jiffy Treet.
You build your meal in a bowl or on a flatbread, starting from whole grains, greens or flatbread and adding a protein, dips and spreads, toppings and a dressing. Dressings, sauces, dips and marinades are made in-house. The restaurant suggests the falafel wrap or the lemon grilled chicken quinoa bowl, with za'atar fries, dessert, craft beer or lemonade on the side.
The cafe side serves fresh roasted coffee and no-sugar-added smoothies made with almond milk. The restaurant says it is allergy friendly and peanut-free, and Bloom magazine noted a children's play area. The website lists hours of Tuesday through Sunday, 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., which may change, so check before you go.
