About Hopscotch Coffee
Hopscotch Coffee & Kitchen is at 235 West Dodds Street, right alongside the B-Line Trail. Jane Kupersmith started Hopscotch. Hopscotch Kitchen opened next door in 2022, and a Culinary Crossroads profile described the company as celebrating ten years under owners Jeff Grant and Erin Tobey.
The coffee is roasted in-house at Hopscotch's roastery on N. Madison Street. Visit Bloomington lists drip coffee, espresso drinks, cold brew and cobra verde among the favorites. The kitchen serves weekday breakfast and lunch and weekend brunch.
An Indiana Daily Student column mentions a porch for sitting outside. Hopscotch's site says readers of the Herald-Times Best of B-town poll named it Bloomington's favorite coffee destination. It also offers coffee service and food for groups. Posted hours are 7 AM to 7 PM for coffee on weekdays, 8 AM to 7 PM on weekends, and the kitchen runs to 2 PM, though these may change.
