About La Dulce Chocolate
La Dulce Chocolate is a dessert shop at 530 E. Kirkwood Avenue, Suite 105, at the corner of Kirkwood and South Indiana Avenue. It opened Aug. 22, 2025, in the space that used to be Mr. Tokyo.
The shop built its menu around Dubai chocolate, the pistachio-and-kataifi treat that went viral on TikTok. When the Indiana Daily Student visited, the best seller was a Dubai chocolate strawberry cup with chocolate, pistachio cream and toasted shredded dough. The menu also lists chocolate bars, crepes, cheesecakes and waffles, plus Labubu-shaped Dubai chocolates.
The shop is owned by Thomas Einwechter, an Army officer, and his brother Jacob manages it day to day.
