Steve sold the company in November 2000 to Professional Contracting, LLC, which is owned by George Schermer. Since the transition, Steve has retired. Steve Sheldon has been serving the Midwest with school pictures since 1974 when he borrowed a long roll film camera from a photographer friend to photograph his first school. Today Sheldon School Pictures uses the latest digital technology and has photographed 1000’s upon 1000’s of students since 1974.

Stone Belt is a not-for-profit organization that provides education and support for individuals with disabilities. Established in 1958, we are the oldest and largest agency of our kind in south central Indiana. We offer a full range of programs and services for over 1,300 clients in Monroe, Lawrence, Owen, Bartholomew, and surrounding counties. Stone Belt’s services are accredited by CARF (formerly the Commission for the Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities). We are an affiliate of The Arc of Indiana, NISH (formerly the National Industries for the Severely Handicapped) and United Way of Monroe County.
