Red Frazier Bison

Red Frazier Bison is a bison ranch on a couple hundred acres in the hills of Greene County. Bloom Magazine reported in 2016 that it is named for owner Zach Martin's grandfather.

The ranch sells steak cuts such as filets, rib-eyes and strip loins, plus roasts, stew meat, jerky and ground bison. The site lists its retail store at 1294 Freeman Rd in Spencer, with weekday and Saturday hours that may change. You can also find it at the Bloomington Community Farmers' Market and other area markets.

A mobile food trailer serves cooked bison at events. WRTV reported in 2026 that Bloomington's BRU Burger sources its bison patties from the ranch.
