The Cabin Restaurant & Lounge

The Cabin Restaurant & Lounge is at 4015 S State Road 446, near the Lake Monroe campgrounds south of Bloomington. The site calls it a family dining place and a home away from home for many people in the area, and says it serves a bar menu after the full kitchen closes. The deck is promoted for summer evenings and afternoons by the lake.

The menu runs to sandwiches such as shaved steak, basil chicken and pork tenderloin, classics such as cheeseburgers and patty melts, and a Tenderloin Manhattan dinner with mashed potatoes and gravy.

The weekly calendar lists an 8-ball pool tournament on Sundays and Wednesdays, an open mic jam on Fridays and karaoke on Saturdays, so check the calendar and hours before going. Catering and bar service are also listed.
