About The Cade
The Cade is an arcade bar at 217 N Walnut St, open to ages 21 and up. It was established in 2017, calls itself Bloomington's first arcade bar, and describes itself as locally and family owned. Bloom Magazine reported in 2018 that The Video Saloon sits upstairs at the same address.
The arcade cabinets are free to play, while pinball takes quarters you get from the bartender. Console games include Mario Kart, Mario Party and Mario Tennis, and there are board games to borrow from the bar.
Drinks include signature cocktails such as the Mario Tart, boozy slushies with changing flavors, and rotating local and craft draft beers. The bar lists Tuesday to Thursday 7 pm to 1 am and Friday and Saturday 7 pm to 2 am, which may change.
