PopKorn Kernels With A Twist

PopKorn Kernels With A Twist is a gourmet popcorn shop at 421 E. 3rd Street, Suite 7, in Colstone Square. The shop was previously at 122 S. College Avenue, just south of the downtown square. Bloom Magazine reported more than 30 sweet and savory varieties flavored with real foods such as cheeses, peppers, nuts and banana chips, and two vegan flavors.

Bloom named Midwest Delight (cheddar and caramel), White Cheddar, Rich Sour Cream and Onion, Celebration and Get Buzzed among the bestsellers. The shop sells in person, online and wholesale, and it takes catering requests. The popcorn is produced and packaged in Bloomington.

Owner Virginia Githiri started PopKorn in Madison, Indiana in 2007 and moved it to Bloomington in 2016. The company is an Indiana University licensed vendor and makes a Cream & Crimson Drizzle flavor as IU's official licensed flavor. Questions go to info@popkorntwist.com or 812-318-3945.
