Raising Cane's at 422 E Kirkwood Avenue serves chicken finger combos from a former Which Wich space, with a walk-up window and hours until 3 a.m.
About Raising Cane’s
Raising Cane's on E Kirkwood Avenue serves chicken finger meals. The Box Combo comes with four fingers, crinkle-cut fries, Texas toast, coleslaw and Cane's Sauce, and the Caniac Combo steps up to six fingers. A 25-finger Tailgate pack feeds 6 to 8 people.
The city approved the restaurant in 2021 for the former Which Wich space in the Rubicon building at 422 E Kirkwood Ave. WFIU reported that it would open on the Wednesday after Sept. 1, 2022, with a free raffle drawing. The space also once held the Vintage Vogue thrift shop.
The dining room and outdoor patio seat about 120 people, and a walk-up window handles mobile orders. The company's page lists hours of 10 a.m. to 3 a.m. daily, which may change, and offers catering orders.
