We offer classes in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Gymnastics, and Self-Defense.
About Us
Thank You for Giving Us the Opportunity to Introduce You to Bloomington United Arts Academy of Dance & Gymnastics. United Arts Academy was founded in 1982. The academy opened with 30 young students and a dream of Diana Brahms to share her love of dance, music and gymnastics with her students. Opening the Academy granted her the opportunity to dedicate her life to teaching the arts and to her love of working with children.
Her vision has been to provide a wholesome atmosphere where each student can develop their unique talents and gifts. The student is taught the art of dance and gymnastics as a creative expression to show their love of God. In the classroom the student is taught the importance of dedication and discipline to the development of the art. The students are taught that the purpose of performing the arts is to use the talents that God has blessed them with to praise and glorify Him.
All classes are taught with an emphasis on family values in the selection of appropriate music, costumes and choreography.
