I think my paintings could be called “haunted realism.” I intend the spirits of the land and the plants to be felt in the experience of the paintings. This speaks from an older, more “primitive” view of the world, where everything is known to be alive and possessing spirit and consciousness. I think as young children, we all experience the world in this way.I want my paintings to be an antidote to a culture where nothing is sacred. I hope my paintings help the viewer connect to the beautiful, abundant life spirit around and within us.
Starr Fitness, LLC is Personal Training done in the comfort of your own home. No equipment needed, nor do you need a large room to exercise in! I work with adults who are either seeking to lose weight, get fit, or change their workout routine. I also work with seniors in residental communities or nursing homes. If you need help using your home equipment, treadmills, etc. I can come and help you figure out how to work your machines as well as create a program that fits your lifestyle.
Stepping Stones provides transitional housing and supportive services for youth, ages 16-20, who are experiencing homelessness. Stepping Stones has NAP Credits for you! Right now, if you donate $100 or more to Stepping Stones, you can receive a credit against your state tax liability equal to 50% of your donation.
