Rice N Spice

Rice N Spice Punjabi Cuisine is at 1795 E. 10th St., in the former Lennie's location. Owners Amandeep Basra and Gaganjit Kaur moved the restaurant from Jasper, Indiana, where they had operated for two years, and opened in Bloomington on March 15, 2026.

The food comes from the Punjab region of North India, where the couple are from. The menu is short and there is no buffet. You will find rice bowls and rice-and-curry dishes, shawarma chicken or grilled paneer wraps, and samosas, samosa chaat and bread pakora.

To drink there are protein smoothies and iced or hot specialty teas, and desserts include gulab jamun, ras malai and carrot pudding.
