Private, student-led tours of IU and Bloomington for visiting families. Guides are current IU students who show the campus and the college town around it.
About Tour College Towns
Tour College Towns offers private, student-led walking tours of Indiana University and Bloomington for prospective and admitted students and their families. Guides are current IU students who answer questions honestly about dorms, classes, off-campus housing, Greek life and everyday student life, and each tour is planned around what the family wants to see. Tours also walk through Kirkwood Avenue and downtown, past Bloomington’s shops and restaurants.
Tour College Towns is hiring current IU students as tour guides (up to $30 per tour plus tips) and offers unpaid internships in marketing, advertising and business development. Apply at tourcollegetowns.com/guides.
A private tour is $150 for the whole group and runs 60 to 90 minutes, seven days a week. A 30-minute video call with a current IU student is $50, and custom group tours are available. Tour College Towns is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Indiana University.
