A neighborhood craft beer pub just east of Ellettsville on State Road 46: 10 rotating taps of local and regional beer, a fire-pit patio, live music, trivia and karaoke.
About The SIP Craft Beer Pub
The SIP Craft Beer Pub is a neighborhood pub on West State Road 46, just east of Ellettsville. It pours a rotating selection of 10 taps, with local and regional beers alongside familiar favorites, and also stocks select domestic beers, gluten-free and non-alcoholic options in cans, and a variety of wines.
The pub describes itself as a welcoming place to visit with friends rather than a bar, restaurant or nightclub. Inside, a U-shaped bar, tables, couches and chairs fill a brick-walled room in a building constructed in 1955. Outside is a large patio with fire pits, shade, outdoor games and occasional entertainment, with food trucks or vendors when available. Guests may carry in food or have it delivered; outside drinks are not allowed.
The calendar includes live music, trivia, karaoke and special events, and the Owner’s Pour offers a hand-selected collection of spirits served neat in 2 oz pours. Military members, veterans, police officers, firefighters, EMS personnel and other first responders get 10% off non-alcoholic items with ID.
Minors may be inside or on the patio only with an adult 21 or older and for dining, and may not sit at the bar. Pets are welcome in outdoor areas on a leash, and service animals are allowed inside.
Hours on the pub’s website: Monday to Thursday 3:00 PM to 10:00 PM, Friday 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM, Saturday 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM, Sunday noon to 8:00 PM. Phone 812-727-5008, or email office@thesippub.com.
