About Azzip Pizza
Azzip Pizza is a build-your-own pizza restaurant at 2894 E 3rd Street in Bloomington, part of an Evansville-based chain. It opened in College Mall on October 18, 2017.
You pick sauces, proteins and veggies, and the pizza bakes in about two and a half minutes. The dough is made in house and rolled into kids', 8-inch and 11-inch crusts, with gluten-free and cauliflower crust options. There is a rotating Pizza of the Month, and a chocolate chunk cookie is the suggested finish.
Azzip also caters meetings, events and parties. The Bloomington page lists daily hours (11am to 9pm Sunday through Thursday, to 10pm Friday and Saturday, which may change) and online ordering. The chain's founder, Brad Niemeier, started it after winning a business plan competition at Purdue in 2012.
