Full Description

Hoosier Hills Food Bank (HHFB) is a Bloomington-based 501(c)(3) non-profit organization committed to taking the hunger out of poverty. Since opening in 1982, HHFB has rescued and distributed over 100 million pounds of food to those in need.

HHFB collects, stores, and distributes food to over 100 non-profit agency partners across six Indiana counties: Monroe, Brown, Lawrence, Orange, Owen, and Martin. Every month, the food bank serves more than 52,000 households and 68,000 individuals through extensive outreach efforts. Beyond standard agency distribution, HHFB runs specialized programs including Mobile Pantries, Meal Share, Food Rescue, SNAP Outreach, and Garden & Gleaning initiatives to ensure fresh, healthy food reaches the community.

As a proud partner affiliate of Feeding America and a member of Feeding Indiana’s Hungry, HHFB holds certification from AIB International for top-tier food safety. Whether you are looking to find food, volunteer your time, or donate to support the community, Hoosier Hills Food Bank is a central hub for fighting hunger in South Central Indiana.
