Full Description

People’s Cooperative Market is a volunteer-run, Black woman-led farmers market and food cooperative operating out of the Fellowship Hall at First United Church every Saturday. Fiscally sponsored by the Bloomington Food Policy Council, the market supports BIPOC, LGBTQ, and small local farmers and artisans, and centers its work on food justice and intersectional anti-racism.

Beyond the weekly in-person market, the co-op runs an online store offering Veggie and Egg CSA boxes with Saturday pickup or delivery, and accepts and doubles SNAP benefits to improve food access across the community.
