About Yogi’s Bar & Grill
Yogi’s Bar & Grill is at 302 N. Walnut Street in Bloomington, just north of the downtown square. The original Yogi’s opened in 1992 and became a Bloomington mainstay known as a bar where everyone was welcome. IU bought that building in 2017. Finney Hospitality Group brought the name back, and the new Yogi’s opened in the former Scotty’s Brewhouse at Seventh and Walnut in November 2019.
The menu includes wings tossed in a sauce of your choice, nachos, pretzels, buffalo dip and sandwiches and wraps made with hand-breaded tenders, plus smashburgers. A kids menu covers little Hoosiers 12 and under. Happy hour runs 3 to 6 PM Sunday through Thursday.
Yogi’s is an official sponsor of IU Athletics and opens at 10 AM for Indiana football home games with a noon kickoff. Yogi’s Sidebar, a game room with billiards, shuffleboard and darts, can be rented for private events, and the restaurant also offers catering.
Its website lists hours of 11 am to 11 pm Sunday through Thursday and 11 am to midnight Friday and Saturday, which may change.
