About Crazy Horse
Crazy Horse is a restaurant and bar at 214 W. Kirkwood Ave. in downtown Bloomington. The building went up around 1900 as a hotel serving the train station across the way. It was renamed the Gentry Remedy Co. in 1979 and remodeled and renamed again in 1982. Two Rats, Inc. bought it in April 1987 and still owns it, along with the Upstairs Pub and The Alley Bar.
The bar's signature is Around the World in 80 Beers: patrons who try all 80 foreign beers on the list get a plaque on the wall. The wheel has to be finished within six months. Crazy Horse also has a full bar and a wine list. Nightly drink specials include Mule Monday, Tequila Tuesday and Whiskey Wednesday.
The food menu includes a Sriracha Honey Chicken Salad and burger combinations. Weekend brunch runs Saturday and Sunday from 11 am to 3 pm, with mimosas, Irish coffee and avocado toast. There is patio seating on Kirkwood Avenue, and a party room with no rental fee.
Crazy Horse offers pickup and delivery. Its site lists hours of 11 am to 1 am Sunday through Thursday and 11 am to 2 am Friday and Saturday; hours may change.
