Knitting Romance

Knitting Romance is a romance bookstore and yarn shop in Historic Downtown Ellettsville, in Monroe County. It carries curated romance novels, from bestsellers to hidden gems, along with yarn, notions and fiber-arts supplies for makers at every level, and a selection of children’s books.

The shop hosts events and classes for readers and makers, including book signings, story times, knit-alongs, a Yarn Night, release parties and workshops such as tea blending.

Owner Lynn Bloch opened Knitting Romance in 2025, and the Greater Ellettsville Area Chamber of Commerce celebrated its grand opening that November. It is one of the nine independent bookstores in the 2026 Bloomington Book Festival Bookstore Crawl.
