The basics

1. You must be 18 or older to post a listing or write to a seller.
2. We only host listings. BloomingtonOnline (David Martin Design LLC) is not the buyer or the seller, is not part of any sale, and does not handle payment, delivery or returns. Deals happen in person between you and the other person.
3. We review listings against these rules only. We do not check sellers, buyers, items, ownership, condition or price. We may decline or remove any listing at any time.
4. You are responsible for your listing: that it is accurate, legal, and yours to sell, and for any taxes on what you earn.
5. Local pickup only. No shipping, no escrow, no fees, and no payments through this site.
6. Meetup spots are suggestions. They are public places listed for convenience. The police and property owners do not monitor or endorse them.
7. Emails. When you write to a seller, your email address goes to them. When a seller replies, theirs goes to you. We do not show email addresses on the site. We do not store the text of your messages.

Not allowed

We will decline or remove listings for any of these, however they are described:

• Firearms, ammunition, gun parts, silencers, knives made as weapons, explosives, fireworks
• Alcohol, tobacco, vapes and e-cigarettes, cannabis and CBD products, drugs, and prescription or over-the-counter medicine
• Animals of any kind, including “rehoming” fees, and wildlife parts such as ivory or feathers
• Cars, trucks, motorcycles, scooters, boats and anything with a title; car parts such as airbags and catalytic converters; scrap metal
• Real estate, rentals, jobs and services (the Marketplace is for items)
• Tickets, passes, gift cards, coupons, digital accounts, software keys and crypto
• Recalled items; cribs, car seats and bike or sports helmets (for safety, we do not allow these used)
• Baby formula, supplements, contact lenses, medical devices
• Homemade or prepared food and drink
• Counterfeit or “inspired by” brand goods
• Stolen goods, items with serial numbers removed, IDs, documents, license plates
• Adult content, hazardous materials, human remains or body parts
• Anything illegal to sell in Indiana or the United States, and anything meant to deceive

Your photos

You keep ownership of your photos. By posting, you give BloomingtonOnline a free, non-exclusive license to host, copy, resize and show them, and your listing text, on this site for as long as the listing is up. The license ends when you remove the listing or it ends, except for backups that are deleted on our usual schedule. You confirm the photos are yours or you have permission to use them. We remove location data from photos when you upload them.

Responsibility

Meeting and trading with people you do not know carries risk. To the fullest extent the law allows, you release David Martin Design LLC, doing business as BloomingtonOnline, and the people who work for it from claims arising from your dealings with other users, including claims based on our own negligence. To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability to you for anything related to the Marketplace is limited to $100. The Marketplace is provided as is. Indiana law applies, and disputes will be handled in the courts of Monroe County, Indiana. If any part of these rules is found unenforceable, the rest still applies.

Privacy

We collect what you type into the forms (name, email, listing text and photos), plus your IP address for spam control. We keep a listing and the seller’s email while it is live, and delete them within about 30 days after it ends, is sold, or is declined (declined photos are deleted right away). A listing nobody has decided on is deleted after 60 days. When you remove a listing yourself, it and its photos are deleted at once. We keep your IP address only as a scrambled counter for spam limits, for about a day. We do not store the text of messages you send to sellers. Photo location data is removed. We use Cloudflare Turnstile to stop bots, and our email service to deliver messages. We do not sell your information. We may share information when the law requires it. To have your listing or data deleted, use your manage link or email us.

Complaints and contact

To report a listing, use the Report button on it. If you believe a photo or listing infringes your copyright or trademark, or you need to reach us for any reason, email admin@bloomingtononline.com with the web address of the listing and what is wrong. Repeat offenders are blocked from posting.

Parental-control protections (such as computer hardware, software or filtering services) are commercially available that may assist in limiting access to material that is harmful to minors.
