Cassady Electric has served Bloomington and Southern Indiana since 1965, when Vernon and Mae Cassady founded the company. Mae was one of the first female electricians in Indiana and helped build the company’s reputation for careful, detail oriented work, including historic renovations around downtown Bloomington and Indiana University.

The Cassady family still leads the Bloomington operation today, now as a division of Huston Electric, a statewide Indiana electrical contractor. The team handles commercial, industrial, and residential electrical work, including design build projects, historic building upgrades, EV charging installation, and general electrical service calls.

Cassady Electric is active in the Bloomington community, including sponsorship of Taste of Bloomington and long-standing involvement with the annual Canopy of Lights downtown.
