The practice traces back to 1969, when Dr. Robert Miller founded Arlington Heights Veterinary Hospital as a combined small and large animal practice. His brother, Dr. Kenneth L. Miller, joined the ownership in 1975, and together they narrowed the focus to small animal medicine in 1985. The hospital has stayed in the Miller family since.
Today, Arlington Heights runs two full-service, appointment-based locations in Bloomington โ North and South. Staff provide medical, surgical, dental, and general care across the full range of a pet’s life, from first checkup to senior years. The South location offers same-day emergency services and specializes in orthopedic surgery, while the North location periodically offers walk-in appointments once a month.
Long-time clients describe the practice as a trusted, family-style fixture in Bloomington’s pet care community, with several noting reasonable pricing and attentive, patient care from the veterinarians on staff.
