About B.G. Hoadley Quarries, Inc.

Indiana Limestone from a sixth-generation Bloomington quarry

B.G. Hoadley Quarries, Inc. has quarried, cut and supplied premium Indiana Limestone from its home on West Arlington Road since 1927. The family-owned company handles the whole process, from raw block extraction to precision mill fabrication, and supplies architects, builders, designers, contractors and stone fabricators. Its stone appears in courthouses and universities as well as custom homes, and it ships to projects across the Midwest and the nation.

Siblings Garrett Fell (President) and Lauren Roberts (Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer), the sixth generation of the Hoadley and Fell families, lead the company today. Garrett also serves on the Board of Directors of the Indiana Limestone Institute of America. Their grandmother, former President Patsy Fell-Barker, kept the quarry running through hard times. She received the Women in Stone Pioneer Award and was the first woman to serve as President of the Building Stone Institute.
