About Bloomington Community Bike Project
The Bloomington Community Bike Project is a local bicycle co-op that keeps Bloomington moving by recycling bikes back into the community.
The shop accepts donations of bikes, bike components and accessories during its open hours. Through its Earn-A-Bike program, anyone can volunteer six hours of their time to build or repair a bike from the shop’s stock of bikes, frames and components, with help from staff for people new to bikes. The project welcomes volunteers of all skill levels. Check the project’s website for current shop hours.
