About Considerate Burrito by Considerate Meals

Considerate Burrito is the frozen-meal business of Josh McClary, known as Farmer Josh, who grows and makes food for his family and the community. The ingredients come in part from Consideration Farm, about 5 acres of the original family homestead near Unionville.

The burritos are filled with onions, garlic, peppers, organic pinto and black beans, cheese, pastured pork, cilantro and organic barley. Varieties have included a breakfast burrito, a standard vegetarian burrito and a chorizo burrito, plus the filling sold in a jar. They are made at One World KitchenShare in Bloomington.

This is a take-home product rather than a sit-down restaurant. Consideration Farm debuted its burritos at the Tuesday Market at Switchyard Park in August 2024, and they are listed with the Bloomington Winter Farmers' Market and Bethel Lane Farm Stop. The business has said it donates one burrito for every three sold, starting with New Hope for Families in Bloomington.
