Founded in 2017 by Purdue University DVM graduate Dr. Cody Kalmon and his family, the practice is dedicated to treating every patient with the same individual care and attention they would give their own pets.
Located at 857 S. Auto Mall Road, the clinic operates strictly by appointment. Furry Friends stands out for its strong commitment to Fear-Free services, using specialized low-stress handling techniques to reduce fear, anxiety, and stress for pets during exams and procedures.

- Preventative Care: Comprehensive canine and feline wellness exams, routine vaccinations, and parasite prevention.
- Advanced Medicine: In-house digital X-ray, ultrasound diagnostics, same-day/next-day laboratory results, and specialized oncology/chemotherapy treatments.
- Surgery & Dentistry: Routine spay/neuter, advanced soft-tissue procedures, dental cleaning with digital dental X-rays, and orthopedic procedures including specialized canine knee surgery.

- No Boarding or Grooming: Furry Friends does not offer pet boarding, daycare, or general grooming services.
- Not a Walk-In Emergency ER: While the doctors perform emergency and exploratory surgeries on a case-by-case basis, the hospital operates strictly by appointment during regular hours. They are not an open, walk-in emergency triage clinic.
