Japones

Japones is a Japanese restaurant at 206 N. Walnut St. in downtown Bloomington, which opened in late January 2026.

The menu covers sushi, ramen and chicken teriyaki, along with signature cocktails. Before it opened, the owner said the menu would center on sushi.

It sits in the former Princess Theatre building, in the space the Village Pub used to occupy. The Indiana Daily Student described the room as upscale and a good fit for group celebrations.
