Tom Duffy is a local environmental photographer dedicated to capturing the rich diversity of the natural landscape and the human stories within it. Known for his “painterly” style, Tom focuses on the play of early morning and late evening light to evoke mood, mystery, and emotion in every piece.
While his early work centered purely on nature, his portfolio has expanded to highlight the connection between people and their surroundings. His major documentary projects include Nurturing the Heartland: A Photographic Essay of Two Sustainable Pasture Farmers and an ongoing project documenting workers inside local limestone quarries.
Handcrafted Process
Tom manages the entire artistic workflow from shutter click to finished product. He personally handles printing (up to 24 inches wide), matting, custom frame-building, and final assembly for every piece in his gallery collection.
