Avers Pizza North

The North store is at 1837 N. Kinser Pike, and its site lists hours of 11 a.m. to 2 a.m. every day, which may change.

The founders, Brad Randall and Kris Kaiser, started after a discount pizza chain closed and left a turnkey location. Aver’s says it makes everything in-house each day, beginning with its own soft, pan-style crust. Build-your-own pizzas draw on 21 vegetable toppings, 10 meat and seafood options and 12 sauces, including pestos. There are also vegan options and regular specials.

Aver’s won the Exotic Pizza category at the 1999 Pizza Festiva in Las Vegas. Visit Bloomington says five of its signature pies are multi-award winners and that Aver’s has been ranked among the nation’s Top 100 Independent Pizza Operations for 10 consecutive years. The company’s lunch slices page notes a top 10 finish in a pepperoni slice contest at the 2025 Columbus Pizza Expo. Both the North and South stores handle carry out and delivery. The company’s East location closed in August 2023.
