Friendly Beasts Cidery

Friendly Beasts Cidery makes hard cider in Bloomington from juice pressed in Indiana from Indiana apples grown on a family orchard. The ciders lean toward the drier end of the spectrum, with sweeter and seasonal recipes too, and everything is made with traditional methods and natural ingredients. The cider is gluten-free.

The taproom and production facility moved in 2025 to 615 N Fairview Street, right on the B-Line Trail. The taproom is all-ages and the patio is dog-friendly. Stop by for a sample, a glass, or a flight, or take home a growler.

There is free parking in the lot in front of and behind the building. Bloomington Pub Quiz hosts free trivia at the taproom on Thursdays at 6:30 pm, growler fills are discounted on Sundays, and the Tankard Club is an annual membership with a free glass and cheaper pours.
