Square Donuts West is the carry-out-only shop on the west side of Bloomington at 3878 West 3rd Street. Square Donuts is a family business that began in Terre Haute in 1967, when Richard Comer Sr. started making donuts in a square shape, and it has stayed in the family through three generations.
The company's Bloomington locations include this west side store, which has no dining room, and a bakery on North College Avenue that offers dine-in, drive-thru and walk-up window service plus a limited late night menu. The West store sticks to the daytime menu.
Both Bloomington shops are closed on Mondays.
