Upland Sour Brewery: The Wood Shop

The Wood Shop is Upland Brewing's sour-ale brewery, next to the 11th Street brewpub in downtown Bloomington. Sour ales are brewed, aged in wood and packaged here, and the space doubles as an event venue. Upland began experimenting with sours in 2006.

The company announced the facility on May 31, 2016, as a home dedicated to making sour ales. The name nods to the barrels used to age the beers.

Upland lists the Wood Shop for larger events such as weddings and corporate gatherings, with seating for up to 75 guests, and the pub's Brewhouse Private Dining handles smaller groups. Events need two weeks' notice. Upland's pages give the address as 350 W 11th St.
