About 4th Street International Market
4th Street International Market, at 408 E 4th St., is both a deli and a grocery. The Indiana Daily Student’s 2026 International Student Guide lists Mediterranean classics on the deli menu, such as gyros, spanakopita, hummus and tabouli salad, and kitchen staples on the grocery side such as spices and halal meats. Earlier guides mention veggie samosas and falafel salads.
It is a convenient stop for a sit-down meal, since the market shares a building with Dats Cajun Creole Cafe and Btown Gyros, and other international restaurants line Fourth Street.
The City of Bloomington lists it among local independent shops and says it accepts SNAP/EBT. A 2024 student guide gave hours of 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday to Thursday, 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday, so check before you go. Phone: 812-333-1396.
