About Bloominglabs
Bloominglabs is Bloomington’s hackerspace, a community of makers and DIY-ers who keep a shared workshop, share skills and work on projects together.
Anyone of any age can drop in on Wednesday evenings from 7 to 10 p.m. and use the space for free; a liability waiver is signed at the first visit, and under-18s come with a parent or guardian. People who want to become members come to at least three public nights or workshops first, then find a member to sponsor them. Members get 24/7 access to the space and tools and a vote in the group’s decisions.
