Bloomington Chocolate Company makes handmade truffles, chocolate bars, caramel cups and Blooming-O's, its chocolate-dipped sandwich cookies. You can buy them at the Olive Leaf shop at 2534 E. 3rd St., where Visit Bloomington lists the company as located inside the store.
Linda Armes started the chocolate business in 2010 and launched it at a local farmers market. In 2014 she bought The Olive Leaf and merged the two businesses into one shop. Before that, she had won an Emeril Live contest and appeared on Food Network. A WISH-TV feature noted she is a member of Indiana Artisan.
The Olive Leaf's online shop sorts chocolates into truffles, seasonal and signature truffles, fudge in a cup, turtles and bars. The store posts hours of 10am to 7pm Monday to Saturday and 11:30am to 4pm Sunday, which may change. The Indiana Daily Student reported in 2021 that the company offered curbside pickup.
